You should now see GarageBand open with a single track. Now check “I want to hear my instrument as I play and record” Since we chose microphone in GarageBand choose “Input 1” Input 1 is ONE’s Mic input… either external or the internal Mic and Input 2 is always ONE’s 1/4” instrument input.
